Hot Toddy Recipe

The perfect way to fight the winter chill (for those of drinking age, of course!), this tea-infused cocktail will soon be your go-to for cold nights or when you’re hosting loved ones. Spiced, and featuring the flavours of Nerada’s English Breakfast, this is a winner! 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup of water 
  • 1 Nerada English Breakfast tea bag 
  • 1 tablespoon honey 
  • 40mL brandy, whisky or rum 
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, or to taste 
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Method: 

  1. In a small saucepan, add the water and cinnamon stick, and bring the water to a boil
  2. Once the water boils, take off the heat. Add the tea bag and steep for 5 minutes 
  3. Remove the tea bag and add in the honey. Stir to dissolve
  4. Remove the cinnamon stick. Add your lemon and alcohol of choice. Stir.
  5. Pour into a glass or mug and enjoy warm!
