Raspberry leaf has been dried for the teapot for generations, long valued in traditional women's wellness rituals rather than for its flavour, which is mild and closer to a black tea than to a fruit. Steeped on its own, the organic leaf gives a smooth, earthy infusion with a soft, rounded finish. It is an easy cup to keep coming back to. The leaf is cut coarse and dried whole, which keeps the infusion clean rather than dusty, and it takes milk surprisingly well for a herbal tea, though most drink it plain.
