Loose leaf green tea behaves differently to a bagged one: the leaf has room to open, and the flavour arrives in layers rather than all at once. This organic leaf is graded whole and brewed below the boil, which is what keeps the grassy sweetness in and the bitterness out. It fills a pot easily and holds its character down to the last cup. The canister keeps the leaf away from light and air, which matters more for green tea than for black, and the refill pouch tops it up without a second tin.
