Japanese Ceremonial Grade Matcha

Our Ceremonial Matcha is an organic first-flush matcha crafted in Japan from carefully selected tencha leaves, grown under shade and harvested in early spring when the youngest leaves are at their most delicate. Shading has long been prized for the way it lifts sweetness and umami while softening bitterness, and the leaf is finished slowly to preserve its vivid emerald colour. Milled to an ultra-fine powder, it whisks into a silky, layered cup.

Measure: 1 to 2g per 60 to 80ml
Brew Time: Whisk for around thirty seconds, until a fine froth forms
Water Temperature: 70 to 80°C
Best Enjoyed: Whisked with water and taken on its own, or built into a latte.
