Orthodox Oolong Tea

A single-origin oolong, grown on the Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland. Oolong sits between green and black tea, and the leaf here is rolled and only partially oxidised, a method long treasured for the way it draws out floral aroma while keeping the body soft. It is a quieter cup than a black tea, and a considerably more aromatic one. Because the leaf is rolled tight rather than cut, it needs room and a slightly cooler pour, and the aroma arrives well before the first sip does. It rewards a second infusion from the same leaf.

Best Enjoyed: On its own, without milk.
