A single-origin black tea, grown on the Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland and made by the orthodox method, in which the leaf is rolled whole rather than cut. Orthodox production has long been prized for the way it keeps a leaf intact, releasing flavour slowly and finishing lighter than cut-leaf grades. The result is a delicate cup with real length to it. Whole rolled leaf also means the tea keeps giving after the first pour, so a warmed pot goes further than the small canister suggests, and the cup finishes clean rather than drying.
