Our Australian Afternoon is an Earl Grey style blend, built on a full-bodied black tea and scented generously with bergamot. Bergamot has long been favoured by blenders for a fragrance that reads as floral as much as citrus, so it perfumes the cup without souring it. It is the tea for the second half of the day, when the pot goes on and nobody is in a hurry.
