I love the Nerada ginger & peppermint tea organic blend.
I first bought it in a Sydney supermarket. Then recently had to buy from Nerada online direct because not available in my supermarkets.
A saga, I tried to buy from Nerada online, but not in stock, had to wait several weeks. That wait was OK. But was annoying to receive multiple junk mail emails promoting Nerada tea, when I wanted to buy it, but was not able to due to Nerada non-availability of ginger/peppermint.
Also annoying from the marketing team, was that I was offered a 10% online discount, but that expired (with multiple emails reminding me) before your supply of ginger/peppermint became available. Rubbing salt in the wound. I didn't miss the 10% discount because I was too slow, but because Nerada was too slow.
Similarly, I did not ever receive a notification that my much loved ginger/peppermint tea was finally available. Sad bad communication by marketing team, supply team with customers.
However, I did keep periodically trying, and eventually in September scored, YES, my favourite ginger/peppermint tea was available, so I bought a large quantity.
Then another sad/bad. The marketing team sent me many junk emails about other teas that I was not interested in. That is Ok, they are the marketing team. But they did not tell me the that in September the "Organics range" was on 20% discount.
So, I bought a large quantity of my favourite "ORGANIC" ginger/peppermint tea at full price. And immediately after the purchase, was informed that all purchases [except mine] of the 'ORGANICS RANGE' were in a 20% discount for September.
If I had not been told about the 20% ORGANICS discount I would have been blissfully ignorant. But to find out immediately after my purchase (despite receiving multiple marketing emails, but not informing me of this) was annoying. Again rubbing salt into the wound.
In summary, great product, I will continue to use it and recommend it and endorse it. But bad communications from the marketing team, with the result that twice I was unnecessarily pissed off:
first when I was eligible for a 10% discount but it lapsed not due to my fault but because the tea I wanted was not available: and
Secondly, when immediately after I bought my ORGANIC ginger/peppermint tea, I was informed that if I had known, then I could have received a 20% ORGANICS discount for September, by plugging in a special discount code, only told to customers just after the purchase eligible for that discount.
2 unnecessary ways of annoying your customer.
