Green tea and lemon myrtle share a family of flavours, which is why they work so easily together. Lemon myrtle, treasured for a sweet lemon character without the sharpness of citrus, lifts the grassy sweetness of organic green tea rather than sitting on top of it, and our Australian Rainforest keeps both of them delicate. It makes an easy jug of iced tea as well as a hot cup. Brewed below the boil, as green tea always should be, it stays sweet rather than turning astringent, and a jug of it chilled keeps its lift for a full afternoon.
